![]() ![]() Certainly, some of the cuts get a bit repetitive and aren't melodically or lyrically challenging enough for Jones' able pipes, but there are some worthy moments, too. This CD release of his first two solo albums for RCA may surprise fans primarily familiar with later slow-jam hits like "We've Only Just Begun (The Romance Is Not Over)" and "Here I Go Again," as the bulk of the content here lies in R&B-driven club workouts. Whether he's delivering widely octave-spanning ballads such as "Show Me" or electronic dance grooves like "Finesse," he gives his all to each song and makes it a successful story. His pure, gospel-rooted approach is remarkable for its juxtaposition of sensitivity and grit. Klyntel definitely one to watch for.For any fans of male soul from the '80s, Glenn Jones should be included in the list of underrated vocalists. While Klyntel continues to churn out new music, they continue to tour and gig nationally and have had the pleasure to share the stage with artist like Roger Fisher (Heart) The Writers Block (who wrote the hit for Nicki Minaj’s hit single featuring Rihanna “Fly”, Freeway Jay Z’s Roc-a-fella Records), Michael Phillips, and Amanda Diva. Hammer’s label, Todd added the complete sound. He’s worked with notable iconic songwriters such as Narada Michael Walden, was signed to Motown Records as well as M.C. Todd’s knowledge as an industry professional has been valuable. Something else that’s new is the addition of featuring more vocals and different vocalist including Todd Brown. The Second CD “Klyntelligence” focuses on the vocal ability & their R&B/Soul roots, couple that with the live show that promises High Energy Jazz with Hip Hop and Funk connotations. Klyntel’s first CD “Uninhibited: The Groove Collective” was a masterpiece of instrumental jams they compiled over the first year of their rebirth which produced such hits as “Red CoolAde” & “My Time” a favorite in Europe. No auto tune, no loops, just creative genius and craftsmanship. From Fusion Jazz to Funk, from Rock to Soul, Klyntel prides themselves on.Ĭreated in the late 90’s as an R&B quartet, Klyntel took a hiatus musicianship from the scene to raise their families but resurrected themselves as a band in early 2009 to get back to the art of real music. KLYNTEL (KLY-N-TELL) is a band that specializes in a myriad of “collective grooves”. In 2006, Jones released Forever: Timeless R&B Classics. His album Here I Am was released in 1994 and had a minor hit with the ballad "Round and Round", which reached #24 on the R&B charts. The second single, "I've Been Searchin' (Nobody Like You)" was also successful, peaking at #8 R&B. Its first single, "Here I Go Again", was his only single to reach #1 on the R&B charts. His last album for RCA was Take It From Me which came out in 1986. The second single, "Bring Back Your Love" reached #18 on the R&B charts. The single "Show Me," reached #3 on the R&B charts. His first full-length album, Finesse, was released in 1984 and established Jones as a force in the industry.
